Terms of use.
Short and plain.

These terms apply when you use Found by Valley (found.joinvalley.co, "Found"), which is run by Valley ("Valley", "we", "us"). By using Found you agree to them. If you use Found for a company, you confirm you can agree for it.

You need to be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your details accurate and your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Only list things you built or run, describe them honestly, and follow our guidelines.

We review every listing by hand before it goes live. We may decline a listing, fix formatting, tags or obvious errors, hide it, or remove it, for example if it breaks these terms or the guidelines, or if the site stays unreachable for 60 days.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give Valley a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, copy, format and share it (including in feeds, sitemaps, social cards, embeds and material that promotes Found) while it's listed, and for a reasonable time after removal while caches and copies expire.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you submit, including logos, screenshots and text.

Links from listings to your site are nofollow by default. They can become followed when the Found badge is verified on your site and your listing passes our quality checks. We re-check regularly and may change a link back at any time.

You may show the Found badge on your site, linking to your listing. Don't alter it or suggest that Valley endorses you beyond listing you. We may withdraw this permission.

We don't promise any traffic, rankings, indexing or other results from being listed.

Don't use Found to:

• publish anything illegal, harmful, deceptive or infringing;
• submit listings automatically or in bulk, spam, or impersonate anyone;
• get around rate limits, bot checks or access controls, or test Found's security without our written permission;
• scrape Found in a way that harms it. Our feeds, sitemaps and llms.txt are there to be used.

To report a listing, use "Report this listing" on its page. For copyright or trademark complaints, email hey@joinvalley.co with the details and we'll act promptly.

"Write it for me" drafts listing text from your website using AI. Drafts can be wrong. You're responsible for checking what you publish.

Found is a Valley project and shows information about Valley's products. Valley's own terms of service apply to those products.

Listings link to sites we don't control, and we aren't responsible for them.

Found is free. We may change, pause or stop any part of it. Facts marked "verified by crawl" are automated observations of a site's public code. Everything else on a listing is stated by its maker, and we don't guarantee it's accurate.

Found is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, Valley isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about Found is limited to 100 US dollars.

You'll compensate Valley for claims that arise from your content or from your breach of these terms.

You can stop using Found at any time and ask us to delete your account at hey@joinvalley.co. We may suspend accounts or remove listings that break these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, and disputes go to the courts in New York County, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above. For important changes, we'll email account holders first. Using Found after a change means you accept the new terms.
